TradeWindow’s Export Documentation Specialist Training Programme aims to provide those who sign up with the knowledge and skills to become an export documentation specialist. Teams will work more efficiently, with fewer errors, and individuals will gain proven skills and knowledge to help advance their career in export related fields.
The training program runs over 6 weeks with the following structure:
Weeks 1 - 3
E-learning, completed in your own time.
International trade industry and export documentation knowledge (terminology compliance, process).
Various industries export and import country specific requirements.
TradeWindow Prodoc software application training.
There are 17 e-learning modules to be completed in the first 3 weeks.
Each e-learning module will take between half an hour to one hour to complete.
Weeks 4 - 5
Instructor-led classes
Instructor-led classes (delivered either in the classroom or a virtual classroom, depending on the course date you select).
Hands-on practice covering all the documentation preparation steps using TradeWindow Prodoc and Cube.
Hands on practice covering the Letter of Credit process.
Practice sessions creating export documentation for three scenarios with variations on the payment term, Incoterm, product, and importing country.
There are three practical classes of three hours duration each per week (27 hours in total).
Week 7
Assessment
Following the completion of the 6-week course, you will be required to complete a 10 question test and a practical assessment where you will process an export transaction.
This will be assessed by the trainer.
A course completion certificate will be obtained once the assessment has been passed.
TradeWindow Export Documentation Coordinator Programme aims to provide those who sign up with the basic knowledge and skills required to coordinate export documentation process.
The training program runs over 3 weeks with the following structure:
Weeks 1 - 2
E-learning, completed in your own time.
International Trade Industry Overview.
Incoterms.
Payment terms.
Trade documentation.
TradeWindow Prodoc software application.
There are 11 e-learning sessions to be completed in the first 2 weeks.
Each e-learning module will take between half an hour and one hour to complete.
Week 3
Instructor-led classes
Instructor-led classes (delivered either in the classroom or virtual sessions, depending on the course date you select).
Hands-on practice covering the export documentation process using Prodoc as the documentation prep system.
Hands-on practice covering the Letter of Credit process.
Practice sessions creating export documentation for two scenarios with different payment terms.
There are three practical classes of four hours duration in the third week (12 hours in total).
Week 4
Assessment
Following the completion of the 3 weeks course, you will be required to complete an online test (10 questions) and a practical assessment where you will process an export transaction.
This will be assessed by the trainer.
A course completion certificate will be obtained once the assessment has been passed.
