TradeWindow and FORMM team up to serve Australian mid-market
Auckland, NZ. Leading Australasian tradetech company TradeWindow (NZX: TWL) has announced a marketing partnership with fast-growing Sydney-based digital transformation consultancy FORMM to extend the reach and impact of TradeWindow Assure+, particularly into the mid-tier market served by FORMM.
TradeWindow CEO, AJ Smith says the partnership will see FORMM authorised as a Go To Market partner of TradeWindow Assure+ and is well positioned to bring its expertise to bear to apply the provenance and sustainability solution in sectors as diverse as finance to manufacturing.
“We are excited by the level of cultural fit with FORMM, they have an ‘ideas to outcomes’ philosophy and focus on rapid iteration and delivery that echoes our own,” Mr Smith said.
TradeWindow Assure+ is a mobile-served solution that can enhance transparency and provide full visibility on product provenance, and traceability all the way back to the points of cultivation and production. A premium option of the solution includes tracking supply chain activities to ensure progression towards net zero and environmental, social and governance (ESG) targets.
FORRM was co-founded and is led by Nordstrom, Accenture and EY veteran Robert Kinkade, along with other senior leaders from both ‘Big 4’ and startup technology backgrounds, and keen to provide the capabilities usually enjoyed by large-scale enterprises to the hard-working productive engine of mid-tier Australian companies. FORMM’s clients include a number of process-driven manufacturers and distributors spanning tools and hardware, timber, and household appliances as well as manufacturing, retail organisations and aviation.
Robert Kinkade said FORMM was attracted by the ease-of-use and sustainability applications of TradeWindow Assure+ given both FORMM’s focus on positive impacts for the planet, people and global prosperity, as well as the commercial opportunity for clients.
“Over the past 24 months, the sustainability imperative has shifted in Australia. Businesses need to move beyond rhetoric and aspiration to proof and evidence – and this is the beauty of a solution like TradeWindow Assure+,” Mr Kinkade said.
“We’re excited to bring this unique digital solution offering to our clients. With the growing consumer demand for higher levels of transparency, accountability and sustainability across the supply chain, Assure+ is a tool a number of our clients can use to transform how they manage their supply chain,” he says.
There is increasing consumer demand for supply chain transparency, alongside increasing legislative demand for tangible actions towards sustainable manufacturing, and disclosures on industry sustainability data. Businesses across a wide range of industries are in search of a solution that provides high visibility on the supply chain activities, allowing them to better track their progress towards net zero, and environment, social and governance (ESG) targets.
“This is an opportunity for us to see the full breadth of applications for Assure+. In the hands of optimisation and prototyping experts of FORMM, we can see exciting potential for Assure+ to be deployed across new industries and make a powerful positive impact on supply chains,” says AJ Smith.
